I am a Machine Learning Engineer with over three years of experience in managing teams and leading projects and over 7 years of experience in developing in Python. Since founding my company, I have completed over 10 international projects and two patents were filed based on my work. My industry experience combined with a strong background in neuroscience makes me a perfect addition to any company working on cutting edge Machine Learning (ML) technology.
Beyond my technical skills, I also have 3 years of leadership experience at Director/C-suite level. I have also applied for and led government funded research projects, enabling me to confidently manage large-scale projects.

Automated Analysis of Pharmaceutical Records
CamHCRCamHCR is a company focusing on consulting multinational Pharma companies such as J&J, Pfizer etc. Octoshrew was called in as external consultants to help with improving business operations. We identified that a company-wide retrieval and analysis system for data from past reports could improve productivity by up to 20%. Due to the highly specific nature of texts, an embedding model was fine-tuned and combined with GPT-3 to be able to provide analysis of the records to the consultants on-demand.

OctoShrew took over the development of a system which allows autonomous control of over 100 drones simultaneously over large areas of open space requiring highly optimized algorithms as well as rigorous GPU optimization. Extensive experience in working with LiDAR & Vision data to safely navigate drones through a dynamic environment was gathered.

I oversaw the development of a student evaluation and exercise recommendation system which used a variety of methods to push the boundaries of the SOTA. The core element of the project was applying advanced methods such as Reinforcement Learning (recommendation) and LLMs (evaluation) such that the results still remained explainable as required by Austrian law.
